A big part of our own production under our brand Stig P and Coatpeople are made from deadstock qualities. Deadstock means that we buy the last meters of fabric from suppliers which essentially is a more sustainable way of producing new clothes and also serves the possibility of the customer to buy exclusive fabrics at a much better price point. The deadstock fabrics that we use are high quality leftover fabric from exclusive Italian suppliers that otherwise would not be used.
Usually, we are only able to buy very few meters, sometimes as little as 20 meters pr. fabric, and that gives us the opportunity to produce in small quantities and for you as a customer to buy unique styles made of the finest qualities.
As an example, we have been making Coatpeople outerwear out of the renowned and luxurious handmade wool tweed, Harris Tweed from the Outer Hebrides in Scotland.
